Hi folks .. image taken earlier this year when I got myself the RF TC´s .WAnted to see the results taken in real life not in a studio environment .
Captured during lunch break one day at my working placer .
The slightly OOF focus twig might be not ideal ... but more than acceptable IMHO .
Removed a bit from the LHS and bottom ... meaning some OOF twigs .

Details and colours are fine but the pose is not too good, the OOF wing at the rear is a major distraction.

Very nice details especially on the head area...Good HA. I like the crop and the perch sorts of 'fits' the bird. Is that the upturned tail that is part of the OOF. I don't mind it.

    Hello Andreas,

Don't mind the OOF feathers, be it from the tail or wing... these birds are constantly on the move and launch themselves with powerful beats of the wings and tail - I take it you captured this image just before subject took off?

Nice clean background, good head angle, face and beak in focus. Composition looks good. The OOF branch, I am not sure...You certainly made the best of what you had, techs look good, exposure looks good, sensible PP work. Thank you so much for sharing

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Thanks Will and Gabriela for your comments , much appreciated .

There are feathers and the darker part is the short tail ... which is standing out somehow . Not saying it is hottest shot on planet earth , just loved how the little bird got almost blown away ....

    Cheers Andreas

Many wrens typically pump their tails up like this, at least ours do, so it does not bother me at all. I also like the windblown feathers. Like you say, perhaps not the hottest image ever, but overall I do like it quite a bit.
