    Default Chamois III ( M )

    Hi folks ...
back to the Vosges for another image of the Chamois .
The morning was not very fruitful as it was very foggy , took lots of images ... mostly for the bin.
On my way back to the carpark , I came across this nice male who was crossing the plateau to walk /run back to the steep slopes where all the Chamois spend the day time to avoid the hikers /bikers etc .
Just quickly got the kit out of the backpack , kneeled down and got a couple of frames .

    Canon EOS R3
    RF 100 - 500 IS L at 500 mm
    HH

    F 7,1 ; Iso 5000 ; 1/2000 sec

Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023; cropped for better comp and added canvas to the RHS .

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous thread

    Cheers Andreas

Andreas, I like this much more than the previous!

Pose is great and the subject pops so nicely against the BG.

Colours look great, lovely detail too. Well exposed. Background is superb.

Nice composition, neat image...IQ looks great. Everything works

    Kind regards,

This one really pops! Love the pose, the droplets around the hooves, the soft light and the angle.
Good detail in whites and blacks on the fur/coat as well.

I just like the way the Chamois pops against the BG. And there's a certain 'cheerfulness' about him...he is full of confidence
