Hi folks another frame in my Hamster series ...
i am trying to post different stuff , but somehow difficult as they are quite boring in their daily life .... at least what they showed .
Being very skittish for the most time , one is not able to move. around much ... specially when one has a Hamster right in front of the lens .
The Hamsters coming out of their burrows , start collecting food and then returning back into their holes . They are very aggressive amongst each other and very seldom they come across each on the surface ... at least when I saw them . And each time they were showing aggressive behavior .

This guy was captured in a classical pose when they are checking out their environment ... but isn't he CUTE ??? Love that pose .... well worth the long journey to Vienna

    Canon EOS R3
    RF 2,8 400 IS L + 1,4 TC
    HH

    F 9 ; Iso 12800 ; 1/2500 sec

Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 ; removed two grass blades across the face ( generative fill ) hope you do not see the signs . The greens can be discussed Jon and Gabriela .... Slight crop for better comp

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

So cute...pouches full this is not boring at all Andreas, time well spent with those hamsters!
Lovely quizzical pose and framing works. PP work looks good, I like the colours, greens just about right, tonality is great. Sweet pose. Love it

    Kind regards,

Thanks Gabriela ... I knew you would love the pose of this little chap .
They are so cute to watch ...albeit being very skittish in 95 % of the sightings .
I got attacked twice by one of them .... as I was in his way back into a hole , you never know which hole they do disappear after they have filled their pouches with food . Luckily I was kneeling .... one stopped in front of me , stood up , started screaming and jumped into my direction just a few inches away . As I had the 400 mm lens on the R3 no chance to document that behavior . Only a cell phone would have helped in that case .

    Cheers Andreas
