Colin I would try a 4x3 crop scaling from bottom LHC to the full width, it removes a tad of space at the top which I think isn't needed. They are colourful subjects, but I think you can go more in terms of going 'richer', but the yellow on the chest and bright green on the head appear as if they just bleed, no detail compared to what you have elsewhere. Having a darker backdrop adds punch to the subject and greater separation. At 1/500 with the set up I might have added a bit more ISO, if the subject fractionally moves, which it can, you are screwed, unless you are supported or have steady arms.

The BG is a bit " noisy " ... I would soften the details a bit and burn the yellow shoulder patch .
