    Default Rodent for the Rugrats

A Cape Fox vixen struts towards her den and waiting kits at the end of the day with a rodent (presumably a whistling rat) for dinner.

Taken in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park a few years ago...never really looked at or processed it before last week.

    Nikon D3s
    Nikkor 500mm f4 VR-II
    1.4x TC

Cracking low side profile shot here Morkel, with nearly all 4 off the ground enhancing nicely, I like the look of determination here as she makes a beeline for the den.

I might be tempted to remove the white egg shape pebble, as it catches the eye a tad.

    TFS

    Cheers
    Marc

I like the pose and exposure, I get the impression that shutter speed was borderline, perhaps the head could take a little more sharpening.

HI Morkerl stunning capture of the kitten with the prey and priceless aspect ... the feet all up in the air
Typical KTP colors and the tones looking good ... surprisingly you got away quite nice with the slow SS for that action .

    Nice and TFS Andreas

Thanks for the feedback, folks. I too liked the "feet in the air" here.
