    Hi folks ...
a second image and one that might be not so classical for the social media folks ..... but I do not know !
I am really happy with it in general , just wish I had shot this from a lower POV .... but there were reasons why I did not .
I mage is cropped to about 65 % of FF

    Canon EOS 1Dx III
    EF 200 - 400 at 400 mm
    HH

    F 8 ; Iso 2000 ; 1/3200 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2023 ; little bit of gardening on top

    I have two versions a 3x2 and a 7x5 ... I am undecided which one does work better ???!!!

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous posting

    What's the difference?

Could you not get back up?

I think the POV is OK, but light looks a bit strong. Good details and I like the outstretched stance.

Ooops the image in pane 2 should have been a different ratio , a 5x7 crop ..... sorry for the fault .

The location is a bit far .... from home to just go and repeat .
When shooting these guys light is always quite harsh , unless it is overcast .
As their activity is starting around 8:30 am and is already ending at around 6 pm .... and these jumping action is mostly possible when the sun is very high , for whatever reason . But i have some other shots with a slightly lower POV .

    Thanks for your comment Steve

    Cheers Andreas

    Hello Andreas,

Cute pose from the subject and I like those little feet off the ground. Just curious, what was she doing? For me framing looks good, so do the colours and detail. Never seen a squirrel with a tail this small...POV not bad, I suppose you had to lie down and shoot on a bean bag or some sort of support?

Just returned from a camping trip to Kruger Park... lots of driving around but I saw just about everything I wanted... apart from a big male lion Stayed away from the crowds and explored routes less populated, well aware that most of the wildlife is habitat specific. Need a bit of time to catch up with work and I have a very special old friend visiting till end of the month, after that I'll be back and posting.

Hope you have a wonderful week ahead, thank you so much for sharing!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
