    Shot just before 6.30am, came across this Korhanan giving it some on a mound, just loved the cobwebs straddling the grasses. Would have been nice to get some close ups too, but you cannot off road.

    Looking good Steve.....Really like the calling pose and the surroundings....The available light makes for a nice BG and FG...including the cobwebs....Nice feather detail and I wouldn't expect anymore detail on the blacks underneath, considering the time of day...The crop works well.

    Thanks Will, yep about as close as you will get before blacks are clipped, all come back to capturing as much data as possible and not letting Contrast/Blacks dominate, keeping the file as open as possible.

    If rules allowed then positioning with the sun behind would have been better, but you cannot off road now and so you have to make the best of any opportunity.
