This image was created on 16 April at the New Far Bar at Fort DeSoto in Pinellas County, FL. Seated on damp sand behind the lowered tripod, I used the Robus RC-5558-3 Vantage Series 3 Carbon Fiber Tripod/Levered-Clamp FlexShooter Pro-mounted Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS lens and The One, the Sony Alpha 1 Mirrorless Digital Camera). The exposure was determined via Zebra technology with ISO on the Thumb Dial. ISO 320: 1/6400 sec. at f/3.2 (stopped down 1/3 stop) in Manual mode. When evaluated in RawDigger, the raw file brightness was determined to be dead-solid perfect (ho hum). AWB at 8:35:31am on a sunny morning. Tracking: Expand Spot/AF-C with Bird Face/Eye detection enabled performed to perfection.

I love the setting, behavior, and pose but think you get more out of the blacks on the head. I also see what looks like a faint halo on the crowns of both birds, but that could be an illusion since the blacks are so dark. Exposure and
detail on the whites is outstanding. I love the stripes through the background.
Super shot the blacks as mentioned are inky black, the downloaded jpeg appears to have clipped whites. I am unfamiliar with the surroundings and lighting conditions but the image appears slightly blue/cold to me.
Tanks all for sharing your thoughts. I like my BLACKs to be BLACK on sunny days.

Artie, if you have reverted back to ACR for raw conversion then simply change your Profile from Adobe Colour to Adobe standard in ACR. Adobe Colour is Adobe's default which is pants, as it pushes everything, Standard is a bit more sympathetic, you can then address whatever Blacks you want with the Masks now available.
Post Production: It’s ALL about what you do with the tools and not, which brand of tool you use.
