    Hi Jon a sweet capture of this species , well done .
    Super pose and framing , i do like the stuff in LLC as the BG is a but unfortunate in terms of color and tonality . But nothing you could have done ... i think .
    As posted , due to the heavy contrast between the pale BG and the dark face mask , i think you should open up the dark mask to make more details visible . ( just a thought )
    Sharpness looks very nice

    Thanks Andreas, I did brush his cheek and around his eye at the raw stage, I'll add a little more.

    Hi Jon, lovely bird I am not familiar with. Nice colors and feather detail. I agree with Andreas's comment regarding opening the dark tones on the face. I like the image, thank you for sharing.
