    Default Semipalmated Plover (South Carolina)

This is a frame from Hilton Head, South Carolina. My wife and I spent a few days there as we moved between pet-sits in Royal Palm Beach, Florida and Charlotte, North Carolina.
From there I went to Hawaii to lead a birding tour, and my wife carried onto Asheville, NC in my absence. We reunited in Nashville, TN ten days later. Crazy......

    1/3200 at f/5.6, ISO 800
Processed in LR CC and Topaz DN

Woulda been nice to get him walking, but this was the only frame where I could get even a bit of the feet with all the ridges, bumps, and whatnot.

I really like this frame Dorian! Awesome low angle as usual, great DOF choice, and technically very sound. Great job!!!
