    Default Dunnock II

Hi folks ... one from today , same location as the Wren from yesterday .
As well attracted with the use of Audio
So not really easy to tell them where to land ... I tried to set up a perch , but they never ( Wren and Dunnock ) hopped onto it . Just creeping around the shrubs and popping up here and there .
Weather was different today , very much overcast ... so slightly colder from the WB compared to the Wren .

    Canon EOS R3
    RF 100 - 500 IS L + RF 1,4 TC

    F 10 ; Iso 20.000 ; 1/2500 sec

Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 ; very slight crop from RHS to 90 % of FF

Thanks for watching and commenting to previous postings

A pleasant natural looking image, I don't mind the twigs which are toward the front but I am sorry to say the OOF slightly ghostly twig does detract from an otherwise super shot of the Dunnock.

Thanks so much Jon for your comment , much appreciated .

I am surprised that you , who is favoring natural shots , is " complaining " about the OOF twig behind the Dunnock . Would expect it more others of the P _ Gallery ... but i take it into account .
I was actually thinking removing it ... but then i thought i am too lazy and do not find it bad .

    Cheers Andreas

Very nice Andreas.....Lovely detail on the bird with a good calling pose...Nice colours throughout the image...If mine I would remove the OOF twig behind the bird....I think it would make for a better image...It does catch the eye a bit....I like your chosen crop. I wish I had the confidence to use higher ISOs...The processing looks good at 20.000...

Thanks Will ... glad you like it , you would have the confidence to remove the twig but not to use high iso ???!!! .Removing the twig perfect is a more difficult job than to use and deal with the high iso

Hi folks just for fun ... I removed all the twigs you may find distracting or annoying , ending up with an image that is far from capture .... at least in my book .
Just found out a new and very effective way of removing things
    Here you go ...

Bird looks great. I'm torn on your branch removal; the cloning looks great but feels heavy-handed to me. I would have no ideal how to remove something so big, especially as it intersects the subject.

Hahaha ... Dorian , surprised that you are torn . Thought you would love it .... less distractions .
If i would have removed it in the OP , NOBODY would have noticed .... as the removal is so good . And i have done it only on the low res web image .
But i actually prefer the busy image in the OP .

Really nice image Andreas! Love the detail and the calling pose! I thought the branch did detract the eye and think the removal is a major improvement! You did do a great job removing it
