    Default Boat-tailed Grackle (Florida)

    Another female from the same session which produced my last result.

    I thought the shadow was fun, but -- as usual -- we'll see what the peanut gallery says!

    Obviously more texture in the FG/BG since this bird was lower than the previous.

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS + 1.4x III on EOS R5
    1/4000 at f/5.6, ISO 1250
    Processed in LR CC and Topaz DN

    Hi Dorian ... the president does prefer this shot actually over the previous one.
    I do really like the shadow .
    The rest has the same quality of the previous posting , big congrats to get this flight shots !!!

    Yes, I like the shadow as well! The insect prey item is a cool bonus too. I actually feel it would benefit from a touch more canvas top and bottom. but I's be quite happy with this!

    Looks pretty cool to me:details in all tones, pleasing composition and a really complimentay shadow.
