Hi folks ... nothing spectacular with this image
Just a relaxed Lion male on the plains of Etosha NP
Shot was taken in very last sun light ... partially already in " shadow " .

    Canon EOS 1Dx
    EF 500 IS L II + 1,4 TC III
    Beanbag

    F 6,3 ; IOso 6400 ; 1/1000 sec

Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 ; slight crop from RHS for better comp ; removed one hind paw as it was creeping into right corner and did not look that great

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

    Hello Andreas,

One does not often see male lions with such a great mane... so for me a very special image. Subject in great shape and so relaxed and confident, wow, beautiful sighting. Love the battle scars

Well framed, well exposed, colours and tones look good. Beautiful soft light. Wouldn't change anything here, I like it as presented Nice PP work Boetie. Thank you for sharing

    Kind regards,

Nothing spectacular..... apart from this being a very high quality image with super processing amd my favourite animal subject! I frequently dislike animals being cropped but in this instance I feel it looks just fine. Great shot I like it.
