Not sure I've ever seen a flight frame of a female Boat-tailed Grackle, so I'm pretty stoked with this result (even if the light was a bit steep at this mid-morning hour).
Tracking these birds as they hawked insects was not easy; my arms were like lead after this session!

Very nice Dorian.....Well captured.....I like the flight pose and the view across the bird's back....Very good feather detail.....I like your chosen crop....I would tame the BG, it's a wee bit 'luminous' for my liking, but you were there....
Hi Dorian ... a very cool flight shot , love the wing poses and the eye contact . Very well captured ... just to get the shot is phenomenal for me . Wondering how much of a crop this is ... just asking for curiosity .
Tone and detail very nice . I am ok with the BG is it sets off the subject nicely .
Love it
Love the wing spread you managed in this one Dorian! Getting this is not easy...we have great-tailed Grackles here and they are fun to shoot but very challenging, so I really appreciate the tech side of this. I man also fine with the BG. Really nice work!
