Hi folks back to the KF ...
One from the third session , when the male arrived at that location .

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 200 - 400 IS L at 400 mm
    Tripod

    F 5,6 ; Iso 12.800 ; 1/2500 sec

Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 ; cropped for comp .
I am not 100 % about the crop , as the issue is that it was shot in portrait ... so I have lots of dead space ... but it is too tight for horizontal . So I went for a compromise . Could have also gone to 4X5 ... but found that too tight.

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

Never get tired of these Andreas. Nice to see the minnow in the bill. I wish the specular highlights weren't under the perch. Well done on the processing and sharpness. TFS

Absolutely top notch about as good as it can get technically, composition, colours, action, focus background all very good indeed.

This is a really unique frame, very different from everything else you've posted from this location. I think the crop is fine. Super sharp and well processed. Minnow is a great touch. Good stuff.

Love this landing pose Andreas! The minnow really adds to the image. Love the colors, detail, and action! My only question is why the vertical crop? Just wondering what it might kook like as a horizontal crop?

Thanks folks for your kind comments much appreciated .

@ Kurt ... the crop was chosen for the simple reason that the shot was taken in vertical , no more room on both sides .... so going horizontal would be no option in my book .

    Cheers Andreas
