    Hi folks ...
    another one from the " set up " in local park .
    The Dunnocks do creep in the undergrowth ... hard to get them in the open , with a bit of luck and no other birds around one of them hopped finally on the mossy perch .


    Canon EOS R3
    EF 500 IS L II + 1,4 TC III
    EL 1 Flash in manual mode with 1/16 power
    Monopod with Gimbal

    F 11 ; Iso 16.000 ; 1/3200 sec

    Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 , very slightly cropped to 90 % of FF

    Very nice indeed, the colours remind me of Fuji Velvia. Good DOF, there is an indent in the moss in front and below the foot... is that a sunflower seed.

    Thanks Jon ... you are correct that is a sunflower seed . Eagle eye

    BTW with Velvia it would have been more intense .

    Detail doesn't get any better, and I love the DOF yo achieved on the subject and perch. Everything a set-up shot should be. Maybe a bit more room below and left, but it's really nice as presented. Bravo.

    That's some great feather detail you got Andreas...No nits from me ....all looks good...Nice pose and I like the detail and colours captured on the perch.

    Really love the DOF you achieved here Andreas! nice choice to stop down to f/11. Detail is terrific as well. no nits from me, just really digging this one
