Really cool pose and perch Adnreas! I like the cup as well. My only nit is I wish the seed wasn't in the beak, but my bet is these guys grab and go and don't eat while perched there. So probably not much you can do about it.

Really good shot, colours and details excellent, nice perch too. Regarding the sunflower seeds, just put a few there, once you know he's coming put a few smaller bits there and with any luck he'll pick them up and they won't be visible.

Thanks Kurt and Jon for your comments and suggestions .

The Nuthatch comes in checking quickly and disappears very quickly most of the times , never ate in front of me .
Constantly moving around the mossy perch , or the not ideal area under it .
If he found something he collected it , till the beak is full ... and then disappeared .
I do not have an issue with the food in the beak .... but I do have images without any food , as the first image posted of a Nuthatch

    Thanks again Andreas

Shocking that f/9 wasn't enough to keep the perch in focus. You must be on top of these birds! Higher ISO didn't hurt the details one bit, so that's good. Pose, colors, and comp look good. Very nice.
