    Default Green Heron (Florida)

Last one in the series! I've posted full body, headshots, and flight, so I'll wrap it up with a small-in-frame habitat-type shot.

Nice series of images you ave been posting Dorian! This one is nice as well, but I am not getting the same impact as the others. I'm a fan of these types of shots sometimes, but usually with a more dramatic surrounding. But I do like the placement and comp.

Good idea, but this particular one doesn't quite work for me. I think the reason why is that the background whilst not being overbearing at all is in fact quite interesting - to the point that I am looking at plants with very big leaves and then I see a relatively albeit sharp heron. The heron is there buts due to the circumstances described and the fact that it is (albeit intentionally) small I feel it is too small.

A nice concept shot ... small in the frame .
Composition is good .... but the busy BG is taking too much of my attention . All else is quite good .
