    Hi folks ...
    a new species for me that I captured yesterday .
    Was just a brief visit at the same spot as the previous images .
    Just enough to shoot a couple of frames .

    Canon EOS R3
    RF 100 - 500 IS L
    HH

    F 8 ; Iso 12800 ; 1/3200 sec

    Processed with Capture One and PSCC 2023 ; cropped from landscape to portrait to about 60 % of FF

    Nice look at this species Andreas! I like the moss covered perch and the hurried look on the bird as he is trying to takeoff with his meal.

    I like the BG and moss-covered perch. I do wish the tail was more prominent, or (and some may disagree) not at all. Nice critical focus on the eye.

    Depth of field compression really creates an interesting effort, our eyes going straight the bird's. Facial details are great, and the perch, though a bit unconventional, is interesting with the moss. Agree with Dan about the tail; the bit
    that is visible distracts more than adds. But that's small in the grand scheme. A well-executed and -processed frame.

    Very nice indeed Andreas, accurate colours and super details. The Marsh tit is becoming rather scarce in UK.
