    Default Green Heron (Florida)

    Light was getting a bit harsh at this point in the morning, but I really liked the shadow it created; I tied for this shot earlier in
    the morning, but the shadow was both too long to fit into the frame and too big/distracting.

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II + 1.4x III on EOS R5
    1/4000 at f/5.6, ISO 500
    Processed in LR CC and Topaz DN (crop on heavy side)

    I like this, really nice flight image. Colors look spot on, nice feather detail, wonderful background. Thank you for sharing.

    Nice one Dorian ... love the dynamic pose and the shadow .
    Light might have been harsh , but you handled it quite well .

    Would love to see more tonal separation in the wings .

    Looking very nice Dorian....There's not much I could say to change this....All looks good....I like the flight pose and the shadow from the bird is perfect....

    That shadow definitely is cool! Really nice take-off pose you managed Dorian! He really pops against that lime green BG and FG

    Pretty solid Green Heron flight image! I love how these guys seem to buoyantly float when on the wing.
