    Haven't been out much lately due to my back. Hoping to get out this week. Here is an image from my Bosque Del Apache trip in December 2021. Was attempting to shoot take off images of this guy so kept a high SS.

    Lovely setting. Grasses are the slightest bit busy, but I like them because I've been to Bosque several times and know this is a perfect depiction of the the habitat.
    Plus, the colors on the stalks are really nice. Same for the softly graded background. Biggest issue as far as I can see is the smoothing of the the facial feathers,
    likely at the hands of NR at ISO 3200. I could see shifting the crop right a bit as that part of the frame feels a little empty. But that's far from a requirement. Nice
    work!

    Very nice Kurt....So natural looking....Very pleasing to the eye....Good detail on the bird ...Nice pose and HA....The BG 'fits' perfectly....
