Green Heron (Florida)

Nailed this guy on a tiny island in the surrounding duck weed. Though there was heavy cloud above (hence the cool tones on the plants), the sun was pushing
through a thin patch of clouds behind me; that lent some needed color and contrast while keeping the bird's shadow to a minimum. Really happy with this result!

Canon 600mm f/4 IS on EOS R5
1/1250 at f/7.1 ISO 1600
Processed in LR CC. Cloned a few small irregularities on the plant matter and in the background (generated by same plant matter)
