Nailed this guy on a tiny island in the surrounding duck weed. Though there was heavy cloud above (hence the cool tones on the plants), the sun was pushing
through a thin patch of clouds behind me; that lent some needed color and contrast while keeping the bird's shadow to a minimum. Really happy with this result!
