    Default Green Heron

This will be the first of a string of Green Heron photos I captured at Peaceful Water Sanctuary in Wellington, Florida while I was pet-sitting in Royal Palm Beach.
I captured this individual right at the end of the day, about 5 minutes before the backing shadowed consumed him and his associated perch.

The usual great low POV. The curved branch and scummy water really add to the shot. The OOF rock(?) under the branch is unfortunate but to me, minimally distracting.

Looks great to me what a beautiful setting and such beautiful colours. I like the composition.

The light is gorgeous and the pose is classic! Love the curved branch as well. Very nicely done
