Northern shoveler, I believe this is non-breeding male hence the "muddy" looking bill

Very nice, since I have to nitpick I would get rid of the green band at the top.

Hi Arash. Usual top standard, but admit that the shadow on the far wing I do find distracting.

Beautiful light and love the flight pose as usual. The shadow is unavoidable due to light angle and I am fine with it. You processed it very well. Great image

The lighting is fabulous, and the pose and feather details are just as good. Eye contact is great.

My only suggestion would be to shift the bird up in the frame a bit. You might have wanted to keep that sliver of green at top right, but I don't think anyone
would miss it if you moved the bird up a bit (assuming you have the canvas below or are willing to add it).

    hi Arash,

As always, a sharp successful pose. After your photos and description, I switched to SonyA1. Since I have canon 400mmf4, I worked with it. I didn't get much results. now i have 200-600. I wonder what will happen. if anything negative for me is the lack of a DPP program like Canon. Habit I guess I'm struggling but keep working

    congratulations

Using a canon or any 3rd party lens with a Sony camera is a very bad idea, it will be a waste of time... Capture One Pro is the sw to use for Sony and Nikon and Canon. (DPP is obsolete in 2023).
