Hi folks ... well I also felt into the trap of not posting

But I do try to make it better ... as soon as possible .

So here is old stuff from last year , when visiting the suburbs of Vienna in Austria .

Flower supplied by me ... just to make Jon think , this does look unnatural . I do not care , as it just attracts the subject to pose for me .

    Canon EOS 1Dx III
    EF 200 - 400 IS L at 560 mm
    Tripod

    F 9 ; Iso 1250 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2023 ; cropped for comp

Thanks for watching and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

Andreas, this does look more natural than previous flower inserts. Lovely low angle sharp where it should be and a pleasing expression from the subject. Colours seem a little adrift to me, I feel slightly on the yellow side overall. Super shot, I like it.

Thanks Jon .. glad you like it .
After reading your comment re yellows ... at first I was thinking it does look good as posted , now a few days later I can see a version with slightly less yellows and the greens being pushed slightly towards the cyans .

    Here you go ...

    Hello Andreas,

Such a fun image and I love the pose! You picked the right flower Boetie, this little one looks ecstatic to have discovered it!

For me both versions work, although not knowing the true colours of the species I tend to like the OP more for its vibrance and abundance of colour.

Good composition, well exposed and processed. Made me smile big time thank you Andreas!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
