    Default Cattle Egret (two frames!)

I've noticed a common thread to much of the feedback I've offered lately; I'm constantly harping on the subject's posture: head angle, foot position, wing position, neck position, etc. ****, I even commented on the position of the shadow in one post!

So, in the spirit of posture, I'll offer two frames from a recent burst, neither of which is perfect. I'm stoked with the details on the wings in the downstroke, but I love that the branch
doesn't intersect the subject in the upstroke. I also like that the upstroke shows more leg.

Curious which one you will prefer.

I prefer the upward wing pose , the feet are in batter focus too, and I also prefer the background. The first image is well focused but it has an almost cut out appearance.

    Dorian:

#2 for me as well. I like the balance of the subject better, with the wings up, counterbalanced by the stick down. Plus, not having the stick overlap the body is a plus. Both nice, but def. #2 for me.

    Mr President of the " peanut gallery " ... .... LOL .
All good we all have our fetish ... some more, some less

Fully understand your running after perfection on that front ... I do have that on the slightly different processing front and do overlook the " shortcomings " that you are looking for . Funny hey .... we are all very different at times .

nice frame Dorian, I personally like the 1st one despite the merge of the nesting material and the far wing/neck. 2d one is nice too, BG was really nice with all the green

Hi Dorian, nice images. I am with Arash that I like the first image more than the second. Tech look spot on, nice green pure background. Thank you for shairng.
