Hi folks ... just a quick one in between the KF images .... more to come of the KF
Image taken today , kind of grab shot opportunity .

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 200 - 400 IS L at 560 mm
    HH
    Full frame

    F 5,6 ; Iso 400 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSC 2023 ; not much done to the file a rather straight forward conversion with the subject receiving a bit more tonal contrast

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

All good Andreas, I initially looked on BPN and had slight reservation but on lookin in PSCC it looks very good. Colours/tones very good details overall excellent.

Lighting is very nice, and the details look good across the bird. I think bird needs more room in front and less behind.

Thanks Jon and Dorian for your comments .

Š Dorian ... i am ok with the comp , but can see a version with your thoughts , just adding canvas is an easy fix

I could see a version with a comp ā la Dorian's suggestion, but other than that a very nice portrait of this heron.
