Another frame from the set up.....This is a different bird from my previous Chaffinch Take Off.....Same perch, and different flight pose...Wings up this time......I liked how the force of the bird taking off, pushed the perched backwards on this one......Gimbal head....ACR, Topaz DN and PS.

Lovely shot Will, if it were mine I would add a very gentle S curve and increase the vibrance a little, then it pops just a little without going over the top.

Very well captured Will! Love the pose and pastel feel to the colours here. Great BG too. I saved the image to my PC (hope you don't mind...deleted it afterwards)) and tried Jonathan's suggestion and yes, it does "pop" a little more, but I'm OK as is. It works both ways. TFS

Great timing on this Will! I like the wings up and agree with you about the push off the perch shows the force of take-off. I think I like this one better than the previous post. Nice job!

I echo all the positives because this is a really nice result. So stoked you finally got some decent light - it makes all the difference!

Very nice. The wings-up pose is ideal. Good techs to freeze this fella. I could see a bit more contrast and saturation, but certainly like it as is too.
