    Default Osprey Eagle battle

I spent an afternoon at my favourite Osprey location. Not much happening after 2.5 hours, but as sunset approached the sky lit up with some mid-air action between an Osprey and juvenile White-bellied sea eagle. Worth the wait!

    Paul:

Dramatic scene, both birds with nice displays, the eagles slightly turned head and being able to see the eye helps. Puffy clouds add increased sense of dept.

I might be tempted to try a loose vertical crop.

Always great when your patience is rewarded.

    Cheers

Great action of these two Paul! Both subjects look very nice in the frame. I too would like the see a vertical of them, just curious how it would look?

Super action a really interesting image. I like the composition but agree a 5:4 may be a good idea.

This is a wonderful interaction with solid technicals. The view of the tail and back on the eagle is fabulous, and I love the extended feet/talons on the Osprey.

As it's a vertical interaction, I'm curious what a 4x5 would look like. The lateral space is unnecessarily vacuous as presented. But you've got something great regardless.
