Hi folks here is another one ....

    Canon EOS R3
    EF 200- 400 IS L at 560 mm
    Tripod

    F 6,3 ; Iso 5000 ; 1/3200 sec ( ready to get her diving )

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2023 ; slight crop for composition , light was falling basically as posted including the perch being partially in shadow .... I liked it that way . BG slight darkened in post

Thanks for looking and commenting to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

    Andreas:

Handsome bird, effective lighting and comp. I would be tempted to reduce the brightness a bit of the OOF perch on the right. It is bright enough and positioned so that it tends to pull my eye away from the bird.

    Cheers

Another nice view of this lady Andreas! I'm looking forward to some diving shots as well! I think Randy makes a good point about bringing the brightness off the perch down a touch.

Haha ... Kurt , I wish I had shot mainly diving shots . But the truth is , it is oh so difficult to execute those shots successfully .... at least for me .

Thanks Randy and Kurt for your comments much appreciated, I thought about darkening the perch at the lighter end ... but decided to leave it as shot .
Here is a RP with a slight darkening ... I personally would not go further .

    Cheers Andreas
