Lovely image Andreas, and looking great at 12.800 ISO. Nice clean BG and I like the perch too. Your patience paid off Boetie.

Colours spot-on and subject is sharp with good detail. Lovely pose, he must have seen a little fish?

Overall a pleasing image, no nits from me, well captured and processed as expected.

Thank you so much for sharing,

    Kind regards,

Nice shot she looks as though something has drawn her attention, I like the colours in this one, the perch looks far more lifelike in colouration than some previous posts, the bird is very well detailed. The variable colour and light of the background contrasts well with the subject.

If anything I am finding the subject rather large in the frame, but apart from that I think you did really well. I do see you indicated no more room all around so perhaps you agree. Colours, perch, background all look good to me, and of course the subject is pretty appealing too. So liberating to be able to use these higher ISOs now with these modern cameras and softwares eh!

Andreas super. This is the best one for me so far. With that extra bit of branch going horizontal makes it so much better than just another bird on a stick IMO. Love the background light coming from behind. And to top it off just a beautiful bird well processed.

Yes a bit big in the frame but nothing you could do about that. Otherwise a splendid shot all around.
