Had a photo of a daylily from my visit to Powell Gardens last weekend that I was using to try out some new actions I downloaded. There was one called "crystal ball" and I gave it a spin and this is what I came up with. It reminds me of the spirograph I had as a child. :D
Wow, I really like this, Julie, although I'd never have known it started with a daylily! The lines, tones, colors, and detail are great! I love this kind of thing!
Anita, I get most of my free actions from www.atncentral.com. They have a huge selection of actions for Photoshop CS3 and a handful for use with PS Elements and all of them are free! I have a few other places I find them at here and there but they are my main source. This one was called "Twirling Abstract Art" if I remember right. I ran the action and then removed part of the steps to get this final version.
