    Another outstanding frame. Eye contact wins the day. Would not have known you were using a 2X TC based on image quality. I haven't used that lens on my R5 since I've been traveling, so It'll be great to get back home and play with that combo (and the 1.4x III) when I get home!

    One of the most intriguing attributes of owls are their eyes and this shot certainly reinforces that perception. Outstanding. This is another example that explains my lust for the 400 DO II.

    IQ is off the charts, and I love all the warm tones. Direct stare is awesome. I'd look at blending away the longer paler grass stems below the wing tip. Other than that, A-1!

    Love the direct stare. Not the greatest wing position. Really nice background, agree with removing the paler grass stems below the wing.

    Thanks Dorian, I checked the EXIF and this was actually with the 1.4X TC!
