Cool shot Will ..... looks about perfect .
What happened to the bright parts ... no detail , no tone , no color ... just plain white . Just wish you had exposed it correctly without losing any detail in the bright parts .
The rest does look really good to me.

Lovely shot incoming Will. Love the colors and Ha. Maybe just a little over sharpened. TFS

The pose and background are as good as it gets, so kudos on those two. This is exactly what set-up shots should look like,
Unfortunately, I'm with Andreas on the whites and Kevin on the sharpening. You can address the second but the first will likely be a continuing issue.
But hey, it's a set-up, so you should be able to get another crack at it.

Super shot Will but likewise I would suggest the highlights appear to be blown and it does look oversharpened to me, may be worthwhile having another look at the raw file for exposure and modifying the sharpening on Topaz.

Beautiful bird in a great pose. Note sure if you applied DN to the entire bird, but I sometimes have problems with Topaz DeNoise over-sharpening if part of my bird is OOF. The tips of the wings, especially his right, have the same "cut out" appearance that Topaz DN gives me at times.

Dynamic pose you managed here William! I do however wish the whites weren't blown. Still a great image to share. Looking forward to seeing more from your setup

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated....The whites are not blown, so I will be able to reduce them. Not sure if I would get more detail in them as there wasn't much detail to begin with....

Will was this eye detection on or off?

Take it off, it’s not worth it like this, it’s too small an area, but your call.

The histogram does show clipping ... so there can´t be any details .
A lot of funky artifacts in the wings ... next to smooth parts . Not sure if Topaz is doing a good job ...
