    Very difficult birds to get a good shot of, both position and light that brings out details. I've binned more shots than I can count and this one is a bit of a test.
    This pair were in a eucalypt tree just off my balcony, so typical habitat, other than picking at road kill, or litter.
    R5 EF600 f4 III 1.4x III 840mm resting on railing.
    1/400 f8 iso3200
    ACR PS2023 NR crop sharpen difficulty getting the blue balance right as their plumage really picks it up.

    There is still some ble there but that is an easy fix. I feel the main issue is that the birds are too large in the frame.

    This is an opportunity I would have let go; there is just too much other stuff in the frame to get a decent shot.
