Here is a similar but different image to one previously posted. I appreciate many of you would dismiss this as too messy, that's ok if that's your opinion I am not offended. It is the fact that the image as a whole is messy and the Redpoll is doing what is natural i.e. eating and unwittingly dispersing the seeds of the fireweed that I find appealing. Having said that I feel there is a pretty clear view of the Redpoll.

Hi Jon ... i do like it the same way as previous posting . The seeds on the head ... are nice , albeit some might not like it .
Overall image looks better than previous in terms of color .
For me it has two minor issues , one can be adressed . The lovely blue /cyans ... can be reduced , but not the blown parts of the fireweed .... sadly .
    Details and sharpness are nice

Another natural scene, and the bit of seed stuck on the face is fun. The colour cast is improved compared to your previous image of this scene, but still there (bluish green). Try adding some reds/magentas to the overall WB. Still waiting for these guys to show up here this winter!

Agree with Dan about color -- improved but still on the blue side. Fluffy stuff to right doesn't add anything; I'm curious what a vertical would look like since it might minimize the clump's contribution.
Bird does look very sharp, and the nice lightings draws our eye straight to the face.
