Pretty lady! Rather large and tight in the frame, especially at right edge. I do enjoy the details, and the water looks pretty neat. I also like the few water drops on the body, and of course the bit of vegetation hanging from the bill also adds lots of interest. . A bit of a hot spot on the wet forehead - not sure there is detail there to extract but worth a try during raw conversion.

Dan, super close and personal on this one.

Very clean and sharp. I like the water drops on the back and the stream of moss coming down... just a bit of interest added.

It does almost blur the lines between portrait and full body shot. Perhaps just loosen it up a tad. Also, if you can pull the blues out of the whites it would help a good bit.

I like this one, the small grass adds a touch of behavior. for the ducks is too close to the right border, I'd add more canvas there

**** - looks like you were on top of this bird! Nice attentive pose, great detail, and some extra touches (grass, droplets) to boot. As always, I appreciate the effort to get low! Yes to more room all around, but sometimes the bird is simply too close! Very nice.

Nice image, Dan. I agree with the previous comments and suggestions. For me it is good to see someone else using the D500 and the 500 PF. Thank you for sharing.
