    Here is another form my trip to Colorado. I wish the angle was more parallel, but this was all I had with this species. I think if it were more parallel I could have brought out the ringed neck.

    I might sharpen the head a tad more but this is nice... they don't fly much where I live, shots like this are hard to get... well done.

    Excellent action and a wonderful BG. Overhead (only minorly so) angle generally mitigated by the eye contact. Agree with Dan about more sharpening on the face. Love the water on the tummy.
    A very solid frame. Like Dan, I never get these guys IF. They're too willing to float and bob in park ponds!

    Lol, these guys fly often over here....they fly away, and from 200 yards away as they are so skittish!! I agree with the previous comments. Well done overall.

    Kurt, a solid frame man. Love the orange eye on these guys.

    Nice but subtle bkg variation and nicely exposed. Not much to nit on this one!
