Hi folks another one of my spooky graveyard Hamsters from Vienna in Austria ...
DOF falls a bit short on this one , just too close with a long glass .... with hindsight i could have saved a few mm of DOF by stopping down to F 11 .
IMage taken in the shaded areas of trees .

    Canon R3
    EF 500 IS L II + 1,4 TC III
    HH

    F 7,1 ; Iso 5000 ; 1/1600 sec

Processed with DPP 4 and PSCC 2023 ; slight crop from top and LHS added the same amount to bottom and RHS , so it is FF

THanks for commenting and looking to my previous postings

    Cheers Andreas

Aaaaawwww, it's too cute! I get what you are saying about DoF but honestly I quite like it the way it is because there's so much emphasis on the eyes and nose.

Well exposed, great colours and I love the surprised look (with that tiny blade of grass in its little mouth ) , framing looks good to me.

This made me smile, Andreas. Had a tough day at work and just arrived home, 37'C and no air-conditioning because of the load shedding, needed something to brighten my day

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea

Yes I like this too, the subject is nicely framed by the grassm the DOF is adequate for the face ...but perhaps if the ears were in focus?
Details good and colours muche better for me the grass looks GOOD!
