    Default Monteiro's Hornbill (Namibia)

    This bird came into the same food/feeder as the Rosy-faced Lovebird (hence the headshot to eliminate the awful perch). This species is very range-restricted, so I was happy to get anything of it!

    Canon 600mm f/4 IS II + 1.4x III on EOS R5

    Hi Dorian ... a lovely portrait and the slightly tilted head is taking this up a notch IMHO.

    Hi Dorian, nice to get the species, I haven't even seen one yet. Composition, head angle, background all works for me. Technicals spot on in my humble opinion.
