I like the pose, and how the duck is sunken in the water. The face (especially the cheek) seems over sharpened to me, and the back feathers smooth from NR? These guys flee in a panic from a hundred and fifty yards away here - and I remember the first time ever coming close to one was there at Lake Morton
Eye contact is great, but I agree with Daniel about the face being over-sharpened. Back feathers smooth as noted. Do you have the top of the reflection - it's a bit awkward with it clipped off as presented. Frame also looks a bit green to me, but wait for additional input on that front.
Dan and Dorian, thank you for viewing, commenting and suggesting improvements to the image. I revisited the image, processing it with less noise reduction and sharpening. I also changed the crop to show the total reflection as suggested. Here is a repost showing those changes.
