    Default African Oystercatcher (South Africa)

Pretty standard stuff as far as I'm concerned, but a new species for my collection regardless, even if the rocky perch looks like a giant turd!

Nice pose and detail. I learned something, that not all black Oystercatchers are the same even though this African one looks identical to our Australian Sooty Oystercatcher.

Lol, that stinkin' perch!! I do wish for separation between the foot and leg, but overall that oystercatcher look pretty good with those cool sheen-like blacks. Nice blue BG too.

Haha, well as terd-like as it may be it's not like the frame is in the DUMPs because of it ;-)

A very simple image Dorian. Composition works well, rich tones. Fun pose although it would be nice if the bent leg was in front.
