    I captured this image at Circle B Bar Reserve in Polk County, Florida. This image is from May 2018, I recently worked up the image again using new tools and experience post processing. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 80-400mm F/4.5-5.6 VR AF-S ED, camera and lens supported by a Oben carbon fiber monopod with a Wimberly MonoGimbal head
    1/2000 F/8 Matrix Metering EV +2/3 ISO 720 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 400mm (600mm 35mm Equivalent)
    Post processed using Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2023 and Topaz Denoise AI
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    I love the action of the open beak and the details on the feet, but you really needed more direct illumination on the upperparts to make this shot sing. Frame also feels a bit cold/blue to me, but wait for others to weight in on that.

    Without reading Dorian's comments, the first impression I got was that the image needed a bit of an adjustment in the color temp., to the warmer side. Plus a wee bit more contrast.
