    Good capture Jon, but a pity the beak full of mud is merged with the shaded wing.
    Not sure about the crop, maybe a bit much negative space.

    Yeah, I agree with Colin about the negative space and weird crop; it doesn't add a whole lot and it renders the bird too small. Muddy beak is cool since it shows behavior but agree about the wing behind. Eye contact is great. Exposure and details look fine.
