I like the way the brilliance of the bird makes it stand out from the background. The positioning of the bird leads into the frame. What a piece of luck to have one come to drink in the morning. I' can see that you were happy with the result. To be really nitpicking The dark area in the lower right corner is slightly distracting. but that's personal taste and i'm sure others will see it differently.
What a beautiful image.
Terrific light and pose Loukie! Agree about the distraction in the RLC. I also find the mud in the BG to be a little distracting, although likey unavoidable. There is a significant halo around the bird. Thanks for posting!
Good morning Loukie. I was expecting to see a vulture Agree with the above comments . Love the gorgeous lighting in this image and the excellent eye contact. Will look forward to seeing more. thanks for sharing Loukie.
Wonderful light, sharpness and bird but there is a huge halo around the bird... Is it from blurring the BKGR?
