    You did well on the exposure Will, love the sheen on the black plumage. Whites are there and often hard to retain, perhaps a little more adjustment of the ring around the eye??? The 'comb' is gorgeous and really shows off nicely. I wonder if that second grass stem close to the RH edge could go, just cropping in, WDYT? Going to ISO 800 would have just taken the SS up a fraction more and not hurt the capture.

    This one works for me Will. However, I can see Steve's suggestion of cropping out the grass stem working too.

    Looks great Will, the wattles look particularly well detailed, so often the brightness of a scene can lead to a lack of detail but these are about the best I have seen.

    Hi Wil, really nice image, it reminds me of the pheasants I saw in my youth. The image looks good to me, color, detail and background all nice. Thank you for sharing.
