Another one from the archives, a pair of rare, Mountain Zebras. Shot very early in the morning, sadly I could not shoot with more below, lots of clutter. Shortly after stopping and grabbing a few frames, these two then slowly but confident climbed up, the rocky mountain, within a few minutes they had climbed around 200m out of any harm.

Thanks to those who posted or viewed on the last posting.

A very unusual image, I find the rocks overpower the zebra, I appreciate they are pale and would be bright but I tried reducing exposure on them and I think it helps.

I agree, an unusual Zebra image. Glad you shared it with us, I don't think I have seen one. Good composition and nice colour palette with the scattered rocks showcasing the habitat. T F S.

Yeah, the rocks kinda overpower the animals, but this is a wonderful depiction of animal and habitat. That both are looking at you is great. If I had to, I'd guess you put the focus point on the upper animal, but both look really, really good. Really well done on that front.

Hi Steve ... gorgeous looking part of an interesting landscape , love the overall color palette and your chosen rendition of the colors !!!!
Nice symmetry and the eye contact takes this up a notch ... not to forget just the fact to see and photograph them .

Just wish you had more room around .... as i think it is a wee bit tight for my liking .

    Processing top notch

    TFS Andreas
