American Oystercatcher (Haematopus palliatus)

I captured this image at Ft. DeSoto County Park in Pinellas County, Florida. Most of the image I have seen of American Oystercatchers have been from the side, this head on view show how slim the bill is (surprising to me) similar to a Razorbill.
