    A pretty common butterfly in Florida. I captured this image recently at the Fire Bush in my backyard. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    Nikon D500
    Nikon 500mm PF, Handheld
    1/2500 F/5.6 Matrix Metering EV 0 ISO 4000 Auto 1 WB, image captured at 500mm (750mm 35mm Equivalent)
    Post processed using Lightroom Classic, Photoshop CC 2023 and Topaz Denoise AI, removed a couple out of focus leaves in the background, sharpened soft left wing tip in Topaz Sharpen AI
    Cropped for composition and presentation

    Sorry for the late reply, I have been without internet for a couple of weeks. Looks good but parts not in focus I think a greater DOF was needed.

    Joe:

    Well exposed, soft light helps. A lot of artifacts along the stem behind the butterfly. Did you mask that area?
    I would have def. used a slower shutter speed to gain some more DOF and lower ISO.
